Alumina foam ceramic filter is mainly suitable for the filtration and purification of aluminum and alloy solutions. In aluminum alloy casting, it can effectively remove impurities in the solution and improve the quality and performance of aluminum alloy castings.
The large-size alumina foam ceramic foam filter (filter plate) is widely used in aluminum alloy casting rods,flat ingots,aluminum foil,aluminum cans, high-end aluminum profiles and other aluminum casting workshops,and the filtration rate of 15 to 20 microns of impurity particles can reach 98.3%, which can help obtain perfect aluminum products.
Various specifications can be produced according to customer requirements,10ppi to 60ppi selection range,up to 24 inches.
Product Characteristic
1. Three-dimensional network structure
Alumina foam ceramic filter adopts polyurethane foam as the precursor,impregnated refractory slurry forming process,after high temperature sintering to form a three-dimensional three-dimensional network structure of special ceramic products.This structure provides efficient filtration performance, which can effectively filter out large inclusions and small suspended inclusions in liquid metals.
2. High porosity in opening
The filter has an open porosity of 80% to 90%,which allows the metal liquid to pass smoothly while ensuring the filtration effect.
3. A variety of material options
Alumina foam ceramic filter according to the material classification including aluminum oxide,magnesium oxide,silicon carbide,zirconia and carbon composite material and other types,users can choose the appropriate material according to the specific application needs.
4. Mesh density is adjustable
According to different application requirements, the mesh density (ppi) of alumina foam ceramic filters can range from 10ppi to 70ppi,and users can choose the appropriate porosity according to the type and weight of the metal to be filtered.
5. High temperature resistance
Alumina foam ceramic filter has a high refractoriness,suitable for high temperature liquid metal filtration,such as aluminum and alloy solution filtration purification, applicable temperature up to 1250℃,and pure zirconia material filter temperature up to 1760℃.
6. Various filtration and purification mechanisms
Alumina foam ceramic filters have a variety of filtration and purification mechanisms,including sieving - cake - deep bed filtration mechanism,floating separation mechanism, deep filtration (physical adsorption) and rectification mechanism, which work together to improve filtration efficiency.
